Emília M. Ludovino is a holder of a dual Masters degree in Law (& legal studies) and Psychology.

She is also a fully certified EQ/EI Trainer, Coach and Consultant by Six Seconds – The Emotional Intelligence Network, which is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited organization.

Further to these certifications, Emília is a Master Practitioner of NLP, Karuna Reiki Master, and Certified Life Coach.

ETIMY:    “What makes you good at what you do?”

Emília:   “Well, my background in being a social entrepreneur, an international lawyer, business consultant, trainer, coach – working with all kind of people, from different cultures, different walks of life gives me the business acumen that resonates with some of my clients, they feel that I can understand them better. This makes my work as EI trainer and coach easier because the rapport is already built. I walk my talk when teaching EI which is easily acknowledge by the clients, therefore makes the learning and empowering process easier and fun.”

ETIMY:    “Whats really fun to do in your job as a Coach?”

Emília: “Fun is the paramount ingredient on my work when delivering training’s, because emotional learning doesn’t work without having fun. I studied theater (though I’m a very bad actress) and love storytelling so I this tools on my work and it’s always a lot of fun when the participants are interacting. And without noticing they’re learning, accessing emotions and changing neuropathways. But, for me, the wonderful heart warming moment, happens when they acknowledge the inner changes that  happened during the “playground moment”. After all, change can be fun ;-)  “

Experience

Kicking off her career as an International Lawyer, and then working for the United nations both as a legal consultant and Emotional Intelligence and NLP trainer, i.e. training and coaching leadership within the organisation, Emília brings a wealth of experience to her role as International Emotional Intelligence Coach.

Working on your Emotional Intelligence with a highly experienced Coach provides a surefire benchmark, when dealing with multinational, multicultural complex corporate environments that sometimes have several managerial levels and matrix reporting; Emília has not only excelled in these environments, but also excelled by training and coaching the key decision makers at all levels of intellect.

Methods

Having researched, analysed and built her own coaching method, “Smart Feelings 3.0”, Emília has gone out to implement this method in globally recognised organisations; through to top tier executives.

The basic model, as she describes it; “is a cycle of three key pursuits:
1st Know Yourself – Clearly seeing what you feel and do. Emotions are data, and these competencies allow you to accurately collect that information.

2nd Choose Yourself – Doing what you mean to do. Instead of reacting “on autopilot,” these competencies allow you to proactively respond.

3rd Give Yourself – Doing it for a reason

These competencies put vision and mission into action activating individuals to lead with purpose.”

My Thoughts

I am used to working with clients from across the world, men and women, from their late twenties through to late fifties.

Although I specialise in the IT arena – HR & Recruitment, Sales Teams, Management and Leadership, Team Leaders, are also welcome.

My purpose is to take Emotional Intelligence to many people as possible wherever they call me so everyone is welcome although I have a flare and passion for IT professionals and  technology driven companies.

Your Future

The training process is thorough, 70% hands-on 30% theoretical in three steps. That is followed up with co-active coaching as follows:

-Know Yourself- that gives you the “what” – when you Know Yourself, you know your strengths and challenges, you know what you are doing, what you want, and what to change.

-Choose Yourself- that provides the “how” – it shows you how to take action, how to influence yourself and others, how to “operationalize” these concepts.

-Give Yourself- that delivers the “why” – when you Give Yourself you are clear and full of energy so you stay focused why to respond a certain way, why to move in a new direction, and why others should come on board.
